TSM 6.3 expertise (& upgrade) training!

At Februari 6-10 we organise a TSM Advanced (masterclass level) training including a certification exam.

Learn and practise recovery methods, learn on TSM new advanced functions as client side deduplication, new DB2 database config and the new GUI, as also about Simultaneous migration and storage pool backup combines windows for migration, storage pool backup, and copy active-data.

TSM 6.2-6.3 ! Learn and practice disaster recovery of your system and clients, learn about TSM advanced features such as SQL Select, scripts, and Server-to-Server configuration.

PLCS Releases Reporter v2.7 for Tivoli Storage Manager Environments

"PLCS Reporter version 2.7 is an excellent new product add-on for existing Tivoli Storage Manager customers," said Peter Pijpelink, CEO of PLCS. "As part of this upgrade, we've created a simplified installation process, so our partners can quickly help their customer's enjoy the benefits of this solution."

Key features of PLCS Reporter v2.7 include asset management, dynamic performance reporting, departmental charge back capabilities and trending analysis that predicts resource conformity and TSM environmental constraints. With Reporter customers can now generate reports on enterprise levels containing multiple TSM Server instances, like reports on how many successful backups took place from one datacenter to the disaster recovery datacenter.

New in version 2.7 is the ability to define operational reports without using SQL command and scripting. Reporter supports all current versions of IBM TSM until version 6.2

Reporter is now delivered with Microsoft SQL Server 2008R2 (express) which allows a database of 10GB.
